ST RICHARD’S CATHOLIC COLLEGE
The staff and pupils of St Richard’s Catholic College certainly made the 10am Mass come alive on Sunday last with their readings, drama reflection, liturgical dance, sign language, music and singing. A credit to the college and our thanks for giving of your time to be with us.

WINKLE CLUB
Mrs Mary Barrett very kindly represented the parish at the Hastings and St Leonard’s Angling Club on Saturday evening when the Winkle Club gave a very generous donation of £400 towards the Church Restoration Fund. We are deeply grateful for the handsome cheque.

PARISH FINANCES
The offertory collection last weekend came to £862.47 including cheques and standing orders.
Many thanks to all concerned.
There will be a special collection next weekend for the Catholic Communications Network.

has returned to Ireland and is residing at the Pallottine College, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.

who received their First Holy Communion on 13th May 2017. Our thanks to their catechists Mrs Sue Allen, Mrs Bermingham, Mrs Lusted and Mrs Stace for giving so much of their time and preparing them so well over the past eight months. Thanks also to Mrs Bradford the organist and to the children from the Sacred Heart School for the beautiful singing. Our gratitude to Angela for the lovely floral display and to the altar servers William, Eliza and Elisha.
ORDINATIONS IN AFRICA
Two of our Pallottine students, Norbert Mukabwa and Stephen Lwebuga, will be ordained to the priesthood in the parish of Queen of Apostles, Dagroetti Market, Kenya on Saturday 8th July by Bishop David Kamau, Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi. Please keep Norbert and Stephen in your prayers as they prepare for their big day.
CROWNING OF OUR LADY will take place on Sunday 28th May after our 10am Mass.
