So what
is Gift Aid, I hear you ask? Gift Aid is a Government scheme which
enables charities to reclaim the income tax that you have paid on the money
you give to them. The Diocese is a registered
charity. The parish is part of the Diocese. So we can
reclaim the tax on what you give to the parish, if – but only if – you allow
us to do so. We have claimed tax back on our offertory collections but with
only limited participation in the scheme. We are seeking to increase the
proportion of our weekly collection that we can claim Gift Aid on. If you
would like more information on the Gift Aid Scheme or have decided to take

the church. Please bring a packed lunch and a donation of £10 to cover the

As for return times, that will be dependent on finish time of Mass and
getting 13 coaches loaded and away from West Grinstead but I would hope we
