DUNCAN BROWN WILL BE ORDAINED TO THE PERMANENT DIACONATE
on 23rd July by Bishop Richard Moth at 12 noon. We wish Duncan all the very best and assure him of our prayers.
We will be hosting a reception in the hall afterwards to cater for those attending the ordination ceremony.
If you could volunteer your service for food preparation/service on the day or make a contribution to the celebration there are lists available in the church porch.

GIFT AID
So what is Gift Aid, I hear you ask?  Gift Aid is a Government scheme which enables charities to reclaim the income tax that you have paid on the money you give to them.   The Diocese is a registered charity.   The parish is part of the Diocese.   So we can reclaim the tax on what you give to the parish, if – but only if – you allow us to do so. We have claimed tax back on our offertory collections but with only limited participation in the scheme. We are seeking to increase the proportion of our weekly collection that we can claim Gift Aid on. West Grinstead Pilgrimage 17th July 
A Rambler coach will make the following pick-ups on the Sunday morning:-

St Mary Magdalene, Bexhill,             08.15
Our Lady Immac', Battle                   08.35 (Pick-Up at Abbey?)
If you’d like to go, please put your name on the list at the back of the church. Please bring a packed lunch and a donation of £10 to cover the costs of the day.
As for return times, that will be dependent on finish time of Mass and getting 13 coaches loaded and away from West Grinstead but I would hope we will be back between 18.30 and 19.00 latest. If you have any questions, please contact
