RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Cry out with joy to God all the earth.
IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Mt
28: 16-20; Mk 7: 24-30; Rv 7: 9-17
MEDITATION:
We return rejoicing. We come
unto the altar of God offering what we have, rejoicing. We have come to taste
and see that the Lord is good and we have come to dwell in the presence of this
great vision that we might go out once more confident that our names are
written in heaven.

THE CELEBRATE CATHOLIC
CHARISMATIC CONFERENCE IN BRIGHTON LAST WEEKEND
If you weren’t able to attend this
conference at Newman College, you might like to know the themes – based on “Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your
God” Micah 6:8 - that were focussed on in all the
streams (children’s, young adults and adults): we focussed on God’s mercy, his
loving forgiveness, we were encouraged to start again and once we have started
again we should proclaim the Gospel. We were told to bless our parishes and to
bless our enemies. We were told that Moses was a member of the laity but he
still blessed. The conference was a time of great healing, praise and blessing.
You can read about Celebrate at http://www.celebrateconference.org/weekends/
THE PEOPLE’S NEW TAPESTRY
has been
launched as part of the Hastings Celebrates 1066 events. You can buy a panel
(£5) and sew a picture of yourself on; each panel will then be assembled onto
larger back pieces and then be displayed in St Clement’s at least until the
1000th anniversary. It is hoped that the Hastings embroidery
will also be out this year too. Email heather_agar@yahoo.co.uk
if you’d like a panel.
CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP meets on
Tuesday evenings from 8pm till 9pm in the Day Chapel in the presbytery. All are
warmly welcome.
