RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Seek the Lord, you who are poor,
                                        And your hearts will revive.

IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Ex 23: 4-5;   Lev 19: 17-18;   Mt 18: 21-35;   Lk 15: 4-7

MEDITATION:
Some words are clear because they are shallow and without mystery; they suffice for the mind; by means of them one acquires mastery over things. Other words are obscure because they evoke the blinding mystery of things. Such words, which spring up out of the heart, which hold us in their power, I would like to call primordial words, as opposed to the other kind which are fabricated, technical, utility words.
Karl Rahner SJ (d. 1984)
