FR EAMONN’S INDUCTION AS PARISH PRIEST OF ST MARY STAR OF THE SEA Bishop Richard will induct Fr Eamonn on Thursday 28th September at 7.00 pm. DEACON DUNCAN’S FIRST ANNIVERSARY On the anniversary of his ordination (today, 23rd July) Deacon Duncan gives thanks to God for the many graces received during the past year and asks for your continuing prayers for his future ministry. May God bless you all. The Twinning Organisation thank the people from our parish who attended the Quiz Night on 1st July last. It was a most entertaining evening with a substantial raffle. A very special thank you goes to the winning team headed by Anthony Demarco, who very generously donated their winnings to the Twinning Organisation. Thank you again for your generosity and support. ---------------------------------------------------------------- DIVINE MERCY GROUP All are warmly welcome to join us in the presbytery on Monday July 31st at 2.30pm. There will be no Divine Mercy prayer group during August. DIOCESAN ALTAR SERVERS’ MASS Saturday 9th September, 12 noon, at Arundel Castle, followed by refreshments. Bring cassock and cotta and alb. Details on poster at back of church. ------------------------------------------------------------ BAPTISM COURSE There will be a Baptism course in the presbytery on Saturday 2nd September. You are warmly welcome to join us for Mass at 10am before the course starts at 10.30am.  The course ends at 12 noon. Parents requesting Baptism of babies or toddlers on a date in September, October or November are required to attend. Please have a provisional date (preferably a Saturday) in mind when you come. Babies and children welcome to come with you to the course.
