Hastings Cemetery.
Our prayers and sympathy to her family.

SECOND COLLECTION TODAY
For the Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund. The World Day of the Sick will be recognized for the 25th time this year on 11th February, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes having been first celebrated by Pope Saint John Paul II in Lourdes on 11th February 1993. This year’s theme for the World Day of the Sick invites us to reflect on the phrase “Amazement at what God has accomplished: The Almighty has done great things for me” (Luke 1:49). Pope Francis in his recent letter commented that “This day is an opportunity to reflect in particular on the needs of the sick, beginning with family members, health workers and volunteers, to give thanks for their God-given vocation of accompanying our infirm brothers and sisters.” The second collection helps those who wish to go to Lourdes but cannot afford the cost.
The Bishop’s letter is on the noticeboard.
