RESPONSORIAL PSALM: This poor man called; the Lord heard him.
IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Mk 11:24;   Lk 15:18-24;   1 Pt 5:6
MEDITATION:  Let me be weighed in a just balance, And let God know my integrity!-
If my step has turned aside from the way, And my heart has followed my eyes,
And if any spot has clung to my hands; Then let me sow and another eat;
And let what grows for me be rooted out. Job 31

HASTINGS PHILHARMONIC CHOIR
Ever sung in a choir?  It's a great way to get to know people! Hastings Philharmonic Choir is looking for singers to join them in a concert of Beethoven's 9th choral symphony with full orchestra on 12th November at White Rock Theatre. This (Ode to Joy) has been adopted as a European anthem. The concert commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme and celebrates European friendship, cooperation and peace. The concert also includes singing a 'prayer for the departed' called the Russian Kontakion. High voice tenors and sopranos especially welcome. Rehearsal evenings in the Tabernacle (opposite ESK) are on Wednesdays and/or Fridays.

Śpiewałeś kiedyś w chórze? To świetny sposób na poznanie nowych ludzi! Nasz chór, Hastings Philharmonic Choir, szuka śpiewaków, którzy wzięliby z nimi i z pełną orkiestrą  udział w koncercie IX Symfonii Beethovena.
