RESPONSORIAL PSALM: I
will praise you, Lord.
You
have rescued me.
IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Ps
29 (30); Jon 2:1-11; 1-44
MEDITATION:
Lord Jesus,
May the power of your
resurrection touch whatever
Is dead in us
And bring it back to life.
Let the splendour of your
resurrection light up he world,
Scattering the shadows of death
And helping all the Father’s
children
To walk in radiant hope towards
the kingdom that is to come.

The
Royal College of Midwives is campaigning for abortion up to birth for any
reason Please write to our MP, Amber Rudd, asking her to sign the
Early Day Motion tabled by Labour MP Rob Flello calling for the resignation of
Cathy Warwick, CEO of the RCM. If we do not take a stand, we will soon have
abortion up to birth for any reason in this country.

THE
PEOPLE’S NEW TAPESTRY
has been launched as part of the Hastings Celebrates 1066
events. You can buy a panel (£5) and sew a picture of yourself on; each panel
will then be assembled onto larger back pieces and then be displayed in St
Clement’s at least until the 1000th anniversary. It is hoped
that the Hastings embroidery will also be out this year too. Email heather_agar@yahoo.co.uk if you’d like a panel.
