5th June 2016, back of newsletter

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: I will praise you, Lord.
                                              You have rescued me.

IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Ps 29 (30); Jon 2:1-11; 1-44

MEDITATION:
Lord Jesus,
May the power of your resurrection touch whatever
Is dead in us
And bring it back to life.
Let the splendour of your resurrection light up he world,
Scattering the shadows of death
And helping all the Father’s children
To walk in radiant hope towards the kingdom that is to come.

THE PEOPLE’S NEW TAPESTRY

has been launched as part of the Hastings Celebrates 1066 events. You can buy a panel (£5) and sew a picture of yourself on; each panel will then be assembled onto larger back pieces and then be displayed in St Clement’s at least until the 1000th anniversary. It is hoped that the Hastings embroidery will also be out this year too. Email heather_agar@yahoo.co.uk if you’d like a panel.
