Urgent: Please act now to defend the Life Charity

The Government recently announced their decision to grant the Life charity £250,000 for “housing, practical help, counselling, emotional support and life skills training for young pregnant women who are homeless” in west London. This has prompted a wholly unjustified attack by the media and ‘pro-choice’ lobby groups. Life do not, as has been widely suggested, pressure women. They are simply there to support women who wish to exercise their choice to keep their babies. For some such women, Life is their only hope.

PRAYER

Dear God, in the battle that goes on in life,

I ask for a field that is fair.

A chance that is equal in all of the strife,

A chance to do and to dare.

And if I should win, let it be by the code,

With my heart and my honour held high;

But if I should lose, let me stand by the road,

And cheer as the winners pass by.
