PALLOTTINE PRAYER FOR THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD
God the Holy Spirit, by your power Jesus was conceived in Mary. We, too, are filled with your power so that Jesus Christ, our Saviour, may be made visible to the world.
Lord our God, we praise you because you sent your Son as Saviour of the world. We adore you because you manifested his glory to the people. Fill your Church here on earth with the spirit of faith and adoration. Strengthen our conviction that even today you are close to your people in your Son, and reign as Lord over all. All the kings of the earth adore him, alleluia. All peoples serve him, alleluia.
Father of light, unchanging God, today you revealed your Word made flesh to the nations by the guidance of a star. Your light is strong, your love is near; draw us beyond the limits which this world imposes, to the life where your Spirit makes all life complete. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
