PALLOTTINE POST-COMMUNION
PRAYER
Because
you, O God, are the infinite Love, you have loved us, and in your mercy wished
that your only-begotten Son should become one of us and bring us who are
sinners before You. That is why You sent your Son as our Redeemer.
St Vincent Pallotti, pray for
us.
Mary, Mother of Divine Love,
pray for us.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM: For
You my soul is thirsting,
O God, my God.
IMPULSES FOR PRAYER: Is
52-53; Lk 9:43-45, 18:31-34; Jn 19:37;
Acts 2:23-24, 3:15: 2 Pt 1:20-21
MEDITATION:
The cross is part of life
because it teaches us about living. Without Calvary there would be no Easter.
We do not seek out the cross in life and it is not pleasant when it comes, as
come it will, but it is necessary. It is life’s way of reminding us of what is
truly important.
Anon.
