RESPONSORIAL
PSALM: Bless the Lord, my soul!
Lord
God, how great you are!
IMPULSES
FOR PRAYER: Ps 22; Jn 3:1-12;
Rm 6:1-4
MEDITATION:
Blessed
John trembles to immerse in the river
The
one who is able
To
cleanse sins by his blood.
With
suppliant voice we pray you, O Christ:
Protect
us all!
Make
our minds luminous that we may live purely for you.
O
Christ, life and truth, to You be all glory,
The
one whom heavenly splendour
Of
the Father and the Spirit reveals.
‘Iesus refulsit omnium’, hymn for the
feast (translation by Glenstal)
