ASSISTED SUICIDE
On Friday 11th September, the House of Commons will debate and vote on a bill to legalise assisted suicide. This will put the most vulnerable people in our society at risk. Richard our Bishop asks that we contact our MP, urging her to attend the debate and vote against the bill. You can send her an email via the Catholic Bishops’ Conference website (www.catholicnews.org.uk/assisted-suicide) or send a letter by post to Amber Rudd, MP, Swallow House, Theaklen Dr, St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex TN38 9AZ. PALLOTTINE PRAYER

Lord Jesus, make us ready for service in our vocation and for our countries and our world. We place our life, our work, our time at your disposal. Make us deeply aware of you. Take us fully to yourself and bind us tightly to you. Lord Jesus Christ, though you became a brother and a servant, yet you remained Our Lord. The divine service and the divine law is nothing but to love one’s brothers and sisters so that everyone does good to everyone else always urged by selfless love.

St Vincent Pallotti, pray for us.

Mother of Divine Love, pray for us.
