RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Send forth your
spirit, O Lord,
And renew the face of the earth.
MEDITATION:
With what ease and
agility, with what intensity and strength has not that fire, sent by the Lord
Jesus upon the earth, not only instructed the ignorant, but even more given
freedom to those in bondage! Yes, they were indeed tongues of fire, spreading
fire, which so inflamed the souls of the apostles, and their tongues too, that
still today every good listener is set aflame by their words.
