RESPONSORIAL
PSALM:
My
God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
IMPULSES
FOR PRAYER:
Exodus
12; Psalm 21 (22); Isaiah 42: 1-6; 52:
13-53; Hebrews 5: 1-10
MEDITATION:
We
learn the secret of resurrection when we learn the secret of the cross. Every
cross leads to resurrection. St Paul
said, ‘I share in the passion of Christ, to share in his resurrection … You
have undergone death, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Christ is
your life and when he is made manifest, you too will be made manifest in glory
with him.’

God p144

who has fallen into financial difficulty. I personally have been humbled by the
kindness shown by many of the parishioners at St Mary Star of the Sea, thanks
to whom he has a fantastic array of household items to keep him comfortable,
including bedding and crockery. Thank you for helping us to help him. Claire Cordell, Little Gate Farm
