(back of) newsletter of St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Hastings, 18th January 2015

RESPONSORIAL PSALM: Here I am, Lord! I come to do your will.
IMPULSES FOR PRAYER:  Isaiah 6:1-10;   Luke 5:1-11;
1 Corinthians 12:1-11

MEDITATION:
I cry out to You. The last strength of my heart reaches out for You. Let me find You, let me meet You in the whole of my life so that slowly I also come to understand what the Church tells me about You. There are only two final words: God and human, one single secret to which I totally surrender in hope and love. It is in being twofold that this mystery is truly one, one in You, Jesus Christ. As I put my hand into Your wound I say to You with the doubting and questioning Thomas: ‘My Lord and my God’. Amen.
